We always try to take on board customer feedback, and today we’re pleased to announce that our latest update to SMS alerts is a direct result of that.

We’ve always sent an alert to your mobile with an update on your balance, and also when your K Wearables prepaid Mastercard is loaded with funds. However, we’ve received feedback that you’d like more control over these alerts – which you now have – with new functionality that allows you to switch alerts on and off within your account settings.

There are three types of alert:

  1. Balance Alert, which displays your account’s current balance
  2. Load Alert, which is sent when funds are manually added to your account via debit / credit card, when a bank transfer is applied to your account or when an adjustment is made by Customer Services
  3. Auto Top-up Alert, which is sent when funds are added to your account via the Auto Top-up function – if you have it enabled on your account

By default, when you register for an account with K Wearables, you will receive all three alerts but you can now switch them off within your Settings. For more information, please see “How to set SMS balance and load alerts
