On Monday 2nd July, Kerv Wearables will be changing its name, along with that of its groundbreaking contactless payment ring.

From Monday 2nd July 2018, the world’s first Mastercard® contactless payment ring (formerly Kerv ring) will be known as K Ring - by K Wearables, setting the scene for a (soon to be announced) wider range of contactless devices and services, all under the same brand.

The name change will have no impact on service in any way, and Kerv Ring owners will be able to use their rings as usual, anywhere in the world that accepts Mastercard contactless payments.

The key difference to customers will be that they will be required to log in to their accounts at a new website - myKring.com - with an experience identical to that of logging in to kerv.com.

Wear your wallet: K Ring, powered by Mastercard

After receiving Mastercard’s Letter of Approval for the smart ring as an M/Chip Advance payment and data storage device in January 2017, K Ring launched (as Kerv Ring) in March 2017, allowing users to make contactless payments with a single gesture - and access London’s Tube and buses - removing the need to carry coins, cash and cards.
